To begin the enrollment process, a student application is required. Once the application is submitted our enrollment staff will reach out to obtain any outstanding documentation. To start an application, please visit our application page. Please note, submitting an application does not guarantee enrollment and students should not be withdrawn from their current school until they attend a new student orientation.
Students can start working on our first day of school once their application has been processed and accepted. Students are required to attend an orientation and begin working in their coursework to be considered enrolled (State Law).
Each student is assigned an Instructional Supervisor. The IS is responsible for answering any questions the student or their family may have and will conduct a new student orientation to go over our systems and expectations.
Parents and guardians can monitor their student's progress through our Maestro Student Information System at any time. The student's instructional supervisor will also communicate progress updates through phone calls, video conferencing, text messages, and email.
To ensure students maintain good attendance, and complete their courses on-time; it is recommended that students work 5.1 hours per school day. Student attendance is automatically captured while working online and offline attendance can be submitted through Maestro. Offline attendance is subject to approval by the Instructional Supervisor. Students enrolled for the entire school year should have at least 920 hours of attendance.
Access to the curriculum is available 24/7 throughout the school year. Students in grades 6-12 can set their own schedule and work around their other commitments. However, State Law requires students to consistently work in the platform to avoid truancy. For additional information about attendance, please visit our attendance page.
