Overview
The Lincoln Empowered Kindergarten through Fifth Grade curriculum delivers proven, textbook-free instruction that generates student excitement and creativity in science, language arts, math, social studies, wellness, music, and visual arts. By combining engaging online activities such as interactive games, educational videos, and comprehensive assessments with hands-on elements like experiments, art projects, activity books, and supply kits, the Lincoln elementary courses provide students with an adaptable, robust, and fulfilling education experience. The physical material kits are available for grades K-2. All content in grades 3-5 is posted online in the course.
A Typical Day in Lincoln
- Log into a lesson on the computer to learn and practice a skill
- Complete an activity in the student workbook that correlates to the lesson (Gr. K-2); or complete online activities that pair with the above lesson (Gr. 3-5)
- Repeat the above steps for each subject area
- With their remaining attendance time, students will complete ELO hours, which are offline activities that correlate to academic coursework (click here to learn more about ELOs)
