The Quaker Digital Academy Foundation awarded scholarships at the 2022 Graduation Ceremony to Bernadette Miller and Carly Huff.  Each recipient received a one-time $2,000 scholarship. 

Bernadette, daughter of Mary and Adam Miller of East Sparta, plans to attend the University of Toledo and major in Biology with a concentration in Ecological and Organismal Biology.  Bernadette has been accepted into the Jesup Scott Honors College at the University of Toledo and has received a $3,500 Trustee’s Scholarship from the University.  Bernadette was the founder and coordinator of Evie’s Angels, a community service organization; served as a camp counselor at Camp Half-Blood; was a member of the Canton South Cross Country; and served as an assistant teacher at the Canton Ballet.  During her junior and senior years at QDA, Bernadette attended classes at Walsh University through the College Credit Plus program.

Carly Huff, daughter of Barb and Frank Huff of Dover, plans to attend The University of Akron and major in Early Childhood Education.   Prior to attending Quaker Digital Academy, Carly was a student at New Philadelphia High School.  While attending NPHS, she was a member of the cheerleading squad and the Grace Notes Ensemble.  

The Quaker Digital Academy Foundation was established in 2018 and has awarded $13,000 in scholarship monies to deserving seniors planning to further their educational and/or vocational careers.
