Nearly 70 years after she withdrew from New Philadelphia High School in the final semester of her senior year, 85-year-old Georgia Ann Fitch Zion has received her diploma from the Quaker Digital Academy.
“I’m still so thrilled I can’t get over it, ” Georgia said. “QDA treated me like a queen. I am so grateful to them. I have been so blessed in my lifetime. When I was nine, I was stuck by lightening and survived with a few burns. I have a whole family to be so proud of, and best of all, even though I had to drop out of school, I now have a legitimate diploma. What more could I ask?”
