Computer System
Once a student is officially enrolled they have the option to use one of our Chromebooks while they are enrolled. However, they are not required to use our systems to access their coursework. Students can access their coursework from almost any device that has access to the Internet. For the best user experience, please ensure you are using the most up-to-date version of your operating system (Chrome OS, Windows, Mac, etc.) and that your web browser (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, etc.) is up-to-date.
Internet Access
While Internet Service is not provided, we provide Internet Reimbursement up to $40/month (per family - see our Internet Reimbursement Policy for more information).
Internet Type Recommendation: High speed Internet like cable or DSL to ensure that you have a reliable Internet connection is strongly recommended.
Other Internet Providers: While high speed Internet is recommended we understand that some areas of Ohio do not offer adequate or affordable high speed Internet options. Students can also use mobile hotspots or satellite Internet.
Bandwidth Limits: If you are using an Internet Service Provider that limits your bandwidth we recommend allocating around 1 gigabyte of data per month for coursework (this does not include system updates or personal use). We also recommend configuring Metered Connections for Windows 10 devices and Chrome's Data Saver for Chromebooks.
