Dear Parents/Guardians,

We are pleased to announce a new position of Family Ambassador that we have added to both QDA and QPA to help build family connections as well as community networks.

Mr. Richard Page, a former principal and teacher of 41 years, has accepted this position and is off the ground running connecting with “Tuscarawas United Feeding our Future” to offer residents in Tuscarawas County an opportunity to receive a weekly “TUFF Bag”.  TUFF Bags provides students with easy to prepare, nutritious breakfast items, lunch items, and snacks for weekend and extended breaks.  There is no cost for families to participate in this program.

If you are interested in this opportunity, please go to quakeracademies.org/tuffbags and register by Friday, October 13, 2023.  By registering to participate, you are agreeing to pick up your TUFF Bag at the New Philadelphia Office on Friday between 9 a.m to 11:30 a.m.

Mr. Page is reaching out to communities around Ohio to ensure our students have access to all types of wellness opportunities and information.  If you have ideas or need to reach him, please contact him at This email address is being protected from spambots. We look forward to Mr. Page’s activities as he pursues our five wellness goals.

  • Promote mental health awareness and provide accessible digital resources for emotional support as well as having a nurse and family ambassador.
  • Encourage physical well-being through fitness  and nutrition programs.
  • Foster responsible digital usage.
  • Support work-life balance for educators and staff.
  • Strengthen community engagement by connecting with community organizations and through virtual initiatives.

Sincerely,

Quaker Academy Staff
